I lay in bed watching
As my dreams fade in the darkness
Very slowly the flames burn
But are then put out with dout
Maybe that’s where I belong
Straight into a black abyss
So I’ll be on my way
I’ve watched you soar into the sky
I’ve seen you fall to the depths of hell
I tried to build the courage to speak
To show you the better half
Of what you can be
You never gave me the chance
I just wanted to let you know your not alone
You had a easy way of coming to me
But its like you see right through me
No matter what I do
My mind just can’t help but stay on you
You come near me with the rain
As tears fall down my face
I’ve watched how you are with other girls
I only wish I was that girl
I want to go back to where we laughed at nothing
Only enjoying each others company
That’s where I want o be forever
I need you to know that I will be there
Even when you think you are alone
I am there fighting to your light
But I can never find the words to say
I just cant help but smile when I see you
But my mind is screaming out to you
For you to notice, to realize
How alike we are
Right now all I am
Is just another face in the crowd
With a brick wall of secrets between you and I
Only leaving me in my dark abyss
